As the HSEQ Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all company operations. You will lead the development and implementation of HSEQ policies, manage audits, and foster a strong safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and systems in line with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across sites to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to staff on HSEQ matters to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure the company meets its environmental responsibilities, including waste management and sustainability initiatives.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders on HSEQ issues and compliance matters.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve HSEQ performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an HSEQ Manager in the construction, demolition, or waste management industries.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, standards, and best practices.
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent HSEQ qualification.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm
