COMMERCIAL DEMOLITION
From office buildings to industrial units, J Mould handles commercial demolition safely, including projects where the client stayed in occupation throughout, with minimal disruption to everyone around the site.

Built Around Your Site
Commercial demolition rarely happens in isolation, away from other buildings and people. We have removed part of an office building with the client still in occupation, and taken down a commercial greenhouse without breaking a single pane of glass. Whatever the constraints of your site, we plan around them, not through them.
What We Take Down
Office Buildings
Full or partial demolition, even with the building still occupied by the client.
Industrial Units & Warehouses
Industrial demolition of factories, warehouses and large-span units, carried out safely whatever the scale of the site.
Retail & Commercial Premises
Demolition planned around trading hours and neighbouring businesses, with minimal disruption.
Agricultural & Greenhouse Structures
Precision removal of delicate structures, down to glass, without breaking it.
Multi-Building Sites
Coordinated demolition across several buildings on one site, phased to suit your programme.
Public & Institutional Buildings
Structures removed as part of a wider residential, retail or mixed-use redevelopment.

SAME WORKING DAY
Demolition, waste removal, aggregates, grab hire or plant haulage. Tell us the site, the material and the dates, and you get a price, or a date for a site visit, the same working day.
How We Work
Every demolition uses the method that suits the structure and its surroundings, and every load leaves site on a fully traceable waste record, from us to disposal.
Structural Demolition
The standard method for most commercial and industrial structures.
High-Reach Demolition
For taller structures, brought down safely from height.
Robotic Demolition
Remote-operated equipment for tighter or more constrained sites.
Concrete Cutting
Precise removal without disturbing what is around it.
Diamond Drilling
Controlled, accurate cuts where precision matters most.
Hydraulic Crushing & Bursting
Quieter methods chosen for noise-sensitive locations.
STANDARDS & CERTIFICATION
Every project we run is backed by audited industry accreditations, including two that very few operators our size hold. They are checked regularly, not just badges on a tender.
Audited member of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, checked regularly across the work we run.
Fleet compliance audited by DVSA, a recognition very few operators our size hold.
A leading tier of site safety accreditation, held on every site.
How It Works

Call 0118 957 5555 or request a quote, tell us about the site and the building, and we will arrange a survey to see it in person.
We assess the structure, check for hazards, and plan the method, the strip out and the programme around your business and your site.
We handle the paperwork, including the Section 80 notice to the council, and confirm a date that works around your operations, in writing, before any work begins.
Our own crews carry out the work using the method best suited to the site, with minimal disruption to you and everyone around it.
Demolition waste comes back to our own Materials Recycling Facility at Reading Quarry, where it is processed and returned as recycled aggregate wherever possible, closing the loop.
Why Businesses Choose Us
Removing part of an occupied office building, or taking down a greenhouse without breaking any glass, is not standard work for most contractors. For us, it is the kind of project that shows what our own crews, our own fleet and our own recycling facility can deliver, on time and without shortcuts.

SECTORS WE SUPPORT

Case in Point
We demolished four former UKAEA and RAF buildings under a Section 80 agreement, reusing the materials on site as compacted 6F2 with plate load testing.

Trusted on Complex Projects
Rather than sending demolition waste to landfill, we reused the materials on site as compacted 6F2, tested and verified before the next phase of work began.
HOW WE OPERATE
Waste in, recycled aggregate out, all on one site, so your material never changes hands between collection and processing.
The same family have run this site from the start, investing in plant, people and the local community along the way.
DVSA Earned Recognition, CSCS Platinum, NFDC, FORS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 among them.
Tippers, bulkers, grab lorries, walking floor, HIAB and low loader, all owned outright, so we set the date and we keep it.
The yard is open from 6:30am Monday to Friday, so a lorry can be on site before you open.
CALA Homes, J Devine Civil Engineering, Francis Construction and Runnymede Homes are among the contractors who work with us.
COMMERCIAL TIPPING
Whether you are a skip company, a builder or a tradesperson tipping commercial waste, the process is straightforward. This is how it works at the gate.
01
Call ahead for a slot, or come straight in during opening hours.
03
Weighed on arrival and again on the way out.
05
You pay on the weight tipped.

02
Bring your waste transfer note and waste carrier registration.
04
Our team directs you to the right bay for your material.
06
Soil & aggregates washed and sized perfectly.
Not sure whether we take your material? See what we accept.
LICENSED. AUDITED. TRUSTED.
We are registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier and hold twelve current industry accreditations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FORS and DVSA Earned Recognition. Every one is checkable before you book.
DVSA EARNED RECOGNITION
DVSA audits our systems and records directly rather than stopping our lorries at the roadside. That is what Earned Recognition status means, and it is why our vehicles spend their time working.

Featured credential
CSCS PLATINUM AWARD
Platinum is the top tier awarded on site safety and competence across the business, not on a single project.

They were so generous and didn’t make any fuss and took the skip. I emailed to request for collection. They came in 24 hours and again flawless communication.Very lovely chap who collected/ delivered the skip. Very careful and no damages done any where.
