WORK AT J MOULD
Fifty-seven years on one Reading site, with our own quarry, our own Materials Recycling Facility and a fleet we own outright and maintain ourselves. More than 150 people work here across the yard, the lorries, the recycling plant, the demolition and admin teams, and we recruit for HGV driver jobs in Reading and across Berkshire throughout the year.
What We Do
Our teams work across demolition, waste management, aggregates and plant haulage, with a Materials Recycling Facility on site processing 200 tonnes an hour, and an office running transport, the weighbridge and accounts behind it. It is hands-on, varied work, from demolition jobs in Reading and beyond to the weighbridge and workshop at Burghfield.

The yard opens at 6:30am and every lorry is booked against a customer slot, so one late start moves the whole day.

We run under DVSA Earned Recognition and a method statement on every demolition. Getting the paperwork right is part of the job, not an afterthought.
