HIAB Hire
A 53ft reach on a 24ft lorry, so we lift into yards and confined sites a larger crane cannot get into. Operated by our own drivers, from Reading Quarry across Berkshire and nationwide. When you book HIAB hire near you, the crane and the operator come from one yard and one team.
HIAB At A Glance
Loading building materials into a narrow yard, lifting plant over a wall, placing steel on a confined site. The reach does the work a larger crane would need the space to do. That makes our HIAB crane hire the practical answer for HIAB delivery of materials, cabins and containers to sites with awkward access.
Lifting Capability
With a 53ft reach and a 32,000kg gross weight, our HIAB lifts heavy loads safely, even into spaces other cranes cannot get near, with an expert driver on the controls.

Vehicle Footprint
At 24ft long and 8.4ft wide, the lorry fits through gateways and into yards that a conventional crane cannot enter, and sets up without needing the site cleared around it.

OUR OPERATORS
The driver who brings the lorry is the one who makes the lift. They site the vehicle, set the outriggers, work out the radius and pick the load. On a confined site that judgement is the job, and it is why our HIAB lorry hire comes with the operator rather than separately.
Why Book With Us
The crane is ours and so is the operator. The fleet holds FORS accreditation and DVSA Earned Recognition, and the vehicle booked for your lift is the vehicle that turns up. Whether it is crane lorry hire in Reading or lorry mounted crane hire further afield, you deal with the people who run the lorry.
Licensed, Externally Audited and Accredited
FORS and DVSA Earned Recognition both require external audit of our systems and records. Under Earned Recognition, DVSA checks our data directly rather than stopping our vehicles at the roadside.
Family-Owned and Managed Since 1969
The same family have run this business since 1969, so the person who takes your booking is the one who schedules the lorry. Call 0118 957 5555 to book a lift or HIAB transport.
From a skip on the drive or a domestic demolition, to a commercial demolition with the plant hire, haulage and waste that goes with it. One company, one number, an answer within the working day.
