Residential Tower Block in a Live Estate
THE PROJECT
The demolition required detailed planning because the tower sits within a live residential estate, where keeping disruption to residents and neighbouring properties to a minimum was essential.
Using an ultra-high-reach demolition excavator, we took the tower down floor by floor in a controlled sequence.
Strict environmental controls, dust suppression and safety management procedures were maintained throughout the works.
PROJECT OUTCOME
The works were completed safely and efficiently, with minimal impact on residents and neighbouring properties. The wider programme is set to deliver over 400 new affordable homes for the local community.

Survey & Planning
We survey the structure, check for asbestos and set the demolition sequence against what the survey finds.

Licensing & Approvals
Section 80 notice, asbestos survey and licensed removal, and the environmental permits the site needs, all in place before work starts.

Site Setup
Hoarding, exclusion zones and services isolated, with every operative briefed on the method statement before they go on

Demolition
The structure comes down to the sequence agreed at survey, by high-reach, machine or hand as the site allows.

Recycling & Clearance
Arisings are crushed and reused on site where the scheme allows, and everything else goes back to our own Materials Recycling Facility.
